Getting Started

Welcome to Transcribiscie app! Here's how to start using our service:

  1. Find the bot on Telegram: Search for our bot in Telegram and start a conversation
  2. Send a file: Upload any audio or video file (up to 2GB)
  3. Wait for processing: We'll transcribe your file automatically
  4. Receive results: Get your transcript and AI-generated summary

Zoom Integration Setup

Connect your Zoom account to automatically process recordings:

  1. Send the /connect command to the bot
  2. Click the authorization link
  3. Log in to your Zoom account and authorize the app
  4. Done! Your recordings will be processed automatically

To disconnect your Zoom account, send /disconnect to the bot or uninstall the app from your Zoom Marketplace.

What file formats are supported?

Video formats: MP4, AVI, MOV, MKV, WMV, FLV, WebM

Audio formats: MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC, OGG, M4A, WMA

Telegram voice messages and video notes are also supported.

What's the maximum file size?

We support files up to 2GB (2048MB) in size. For videos, we recommend extracting audio-only versions to reduce file size.

How accurate are the transcriptions?

We use Deepgram's Nova-2 model, which provides high accuracy for clear audio. Transcription quality depends on:

  • Audio clarity and background noise levels
  • Speaker pronunciation and accents
  • Technical terminology or specialized vocabulary

Can I ask questions about my transcripts?

Yes! Simply reply to any transcript file with your question, and our AI will analyze the content and provide an answer. Examples:

  • "What were the main action items?"
  • "Who were the participants?"
  • "What was discussed about the project timeline?"

How does speaker identification work?

Our AI automatically identifies different speakers and labels them. We also use advanced AI to detect actual names mentioned in conversations, replacing generic labels like "Speaker 0" with real names when possible.

What is Meeting Memory (RAG)?

Meeting Memory enables semantic search across all your transcripts. When enabled with /memory on, your transcripts are indexed and you can search across multiple meetings to find information, even when exact words don't match.

How can I create diagrams from transcripts?

Reply to any transcript file with /diagram to generate a visual diagram. You can also add custom instructions:

  • /diagram show the decision flow
  • /diagram map relationships between people
  • /diagram create a process flowchart

How long does processing take?

Processing time depends on file size and duration:

  • Small files (<50MB): 1-3 minutes
  • Medium files (50-500MB): 3-10 minutes
  • Large files (500MB-2GB): 10-30 minutes

You'll see real-time progress updates during processing.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use encryption for all data transmission, and temporary files are automatically deleted after processing. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What happens to my Zoom recordings?

When connected, we automatically download audio from your completed Zoom cloud recordings, process them, and deliver transcripts to Telegram. The original recordings remain in your Zoom account.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Contact us to request deletion of your data. You can also disconnect your Zoom account at any time, which will remove your access tokens.

  • /help - Display detailed help guide
  • /diagram - Create diagram from transcript (reply to transcript file)
  • /memory - Toggle meeting memory on/off
  • /connect - Connect your Zoom account
  • /status - Check Zoom connection status
  • /disconnect - Get instructions to disconnect Zoom

Troubleshooting

Processing failed or transcript is empty

  • Check that your file contains actual audio content
  • Ensure audio quality is clear enough for transcription
  • Try re-uploading the file
  • For videos, try extracting audio-only version

File upload failed

  • Check your file size (must be under 2GB)
  • Verify the file format is supported
  • Check your internet connection
  • Try compressing large video files

Zoom integration not working

  • Ensure you've completed the OAuth authorization
  • Check that your Zoom account has cloud recording enabled
  • Verify recordings are set to automatically save to the cloud
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting your account

Speaker names not detected

Speaker name detection works best when:

  • Participants introduce themselves
  • Speakers address each other by name
  • Audio is clear and speakers are distinct

If names can't be detected, we use generic labels like "Speaker 0", "Speaker 1", etc.

Best Practices

  • For best transcription quality: Use clear audio with minimal background noise
  • For large files: Consider uploading audio-only versions instead of full video
  • For Zoom recordings: Enable cloud recording in your Zoom settings
  • For speaker detection: Encourage participants to introduce themselves
  • For better summaries: Structured meetings with clear agenda items work best
